Is BeefLedger considering any other Layer 1 protocol?

BeefLedger is a Proof of Authority network deployed on Ethereum. It can be thought of as a 'side chain' built on top of the mainnet. The benefits of this approach are:

• We have been able to protect network users from volatile 'gas' costs;

• We can, therefore, deliver stable costs; and

• We are able to manage KYC identity management, which ensures we are future-proofed for compliance requirements.

In addition to Ethereum, our team is also developing an implementation version for HoloChain. We have focused on the Holo ecosystem because of its underlying Agent Centric architecture that pushes information sovereignty all the way to the edges. Each person or actor in the community is therefore able to control how much and with whom they interact.

These Agent Centric properties are likely to be useful and valuable when cross-border transactions involve data sovereignty risks or issues related to exposure to data security risks due to differences in regimes across jurisdictions.
